iUdhavi Organization

We started iUdhavi because we felt an urge to serve the needs of our community and make a difference in the life of a fellow human being.

  • We donated 355+ masks for first responders, homeless, and senior citizens in Ohio.
  • iUdhavi collected approximately 1000+ pairs of used clothes and donated them to an orphanage in India.
  • We have conducted a webinar on COVID-19 for 35+ high school students from Dublin Jerome High School and the Albany New York Nepalese Society.
  • We have provided 500+ clothes to homeless children in India.

Meet Our Team

Aaron Fernando

Founder and President

Aaron Fernando is an Eagle Scout, hospice care and hospital volunteer, singer, piano player, and an aspiring future physician. He is currently a senior at Dublin Jerome High school. He is an Ohio State University Medical Doctor Camp graduate, which introduced him to the rigors of medicine and reinforced his passion to pursue a career in healthcare. He has led projects that involved collecting used clothing from his community and led a team to send them to an orphanage in Hyderabad, India. During the coronavirus pandemic, he leveraged his leadership skills and galvanized his peers to participate in the mask project. This involved putting together a team of 15 and helping them produce over 350+ face masks for first responders and senior citizens. Aaron is very passionate about service. He understands the difficulties and challenges facing the underprivileged and looks forward to supporting them in any way he can.

Anam Dewani

Vice-President, Operations

Anam Dewani is a nursery caregiver, hospital volunteer, cross-country captain, accountant, tutor, and an aspiring future pediatrician. She is currently a senior at Dublin Jerome High School, working on her next milestone to reach the ultimate goal of creating a healthy future for the next generation. She continues to care for infants at Riverside Methodist Hospital and assists nurses with numerous tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their family members. For over 3 years, she has fundraised for the TakeSteps Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, an organization whose goal is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis to improve the quality of life of those affected. She also traveled to India to distribute school supplies to impoverished students and spent time teaching these children. Anam is a determined and passionate leader who is always working towards making a difference in others’ lives and strives for a positive change for those around her.
